Booking Your Session

To reserve your session with Cecilia Cabrera Photography, a signed contract and a $100 non-refundable retainer are required. Your session date is secured only once both are received.

The retainer will be applied toward your total session fee. The remaining balance is due one week prior to your scheduled session. If payment is not received by this time, CCP reserves the right to reschedule the session (subject to availability), or the retainer will be forfeited.

Proofs

Approximately one week after your session, you will receive an email with access to your private online proofing gallery. The gallery will remain open for 7 days, so we kindly ask that final selections be made within this timeframe.

Should you need additional time, the gallery may be extended for an extra 7 days with a $25 reactivation fee.

Once your selections are complete, simply send a message to confirm. Your final, fully edited images will be delivered via a private download link within one week—often sooner.

Final delivery timelines typically range from 2–4 weeks, depending on the season and current editing volume.

Final Gallery Download

Once your final gallery is delivered, you will have 7 days to download and securely save your images. We recommend backing them up to multiple locations, such as your computer, mobile device, and cloud storage, to ensure long-term safekeeping.

After the 7-day download window has passed, Cecilia Cabrera Photography is not responsible for lost, deleted, or misplaced files.

How Do We Choose the Location for Our Family Portraits?
I love capturing families surrounded by the natural beauty of our local area—golden fields, blooming wildflowers, charming architecture, tree-lined paths, and breathtaking backdrops such as rivers, lakes, and mountains.

Once your session is reserved, we’ll collaborate to select the perfect location that reflects your style, vision, and comfort. Whether you’re drawn to open landscapes or a more intimate, scenic setting, I’ll guide you to a location that makes your session feel effortless and truly special

 

What If It Rains?

If the weather doesn’t cooperate, rest assured—we have options. Your session may be moved indoors or rescheduled for another day, ensuring the best possible experience and results.

If the forecast appears uncertain, I will reach out the day before your session. In some cases, the final decision may be made closer to session time, as local weather conditions can change quickly.

Your comfort and the quality of your images are always my top priorities.

What If a Child, Family Member, or Pet Doesn’t Cooperate?

At Cecilia Cabrera Photography, our goal is to create a relaxed and enjoyable experience for every session. While we provide gentle guidance and work thoughtfully with each unique personality, we cannot guarantee the cooperation of children, family members, or pets.

We are not responsible for uncooperative behavior during the session. Should a reshoot be requested, an additional session fee will apply.
