Booking Your Session

To reserve your session with Cecilia Cabrera Photography, a signed agreement and a non-refundable retainer fee are required. Your session date is officially secured once both are received.

The retainer is applied toward your total investment. The remaining balance is due one week before your scheduled session to ensure a seamless experience.

In the event that the remaining balance is not received by the due date, the session may be released or rescheduled based on availability. As the retainer secures your reserved date on our calendar, it is non-refundable. Thank you for your understanding and for valuing the time and preparation that go into creating your session.

Proofing & Image Selection

Approximately one week after your session, you will receive access to your private online proofing gallery. Your gallery will remain available for 7 days to allow time for thoughtful selection. If additional time is needed, the gallery may be reopened for an additional 7 days with a $25 reactivation fee.

Once your selections are finalized, simply send a confirmation message. Your fully edited images will be delivered via a private download link within one week—often sooner.

During busier seasons, final delivery timelines may range from 2–4 weeks. Each image is carefully and artistically refined to ensure the highest quality.

Final Gallery Delivery

Upon delivery of your final gallery, you will have 7 days to download and securely save your images.

We strongly recommend backing up your files in multiple locations, such as an external drive and cloud storage, to preserve your memories for years to come.  After the 7-day download window has passed, Cecilia Cabrera Photography cannot guarantee the replacement of files. Archival storage is not included with your session. Your memories are priceless, and protecting them is an important final step.

Choosing the Perfect Location

One of my favorite parts of planning your session is selecting the perfect backdrop. Whether you prefer a beautifully styled studio setting or an outdoor location surrounded by natural light and scenery, we will choose a setting that reflects your vision and keeps the focus on you and your family.

Our local area offers stunning natural beauty—golden fields, blooming wildflowers, elegant architecture, tree-lined paths, rivers, lakes, and mountain views.  

Once your session is reserved, we will thoughtfully choose a location that reflects your family’s personality, style, and comfort. Whether you envision something airy and open or intimate and scenic, I will guide you every step of the way. Your session should feel effortless, beautiful, and uniquely yours.

Weather Considerations

If the weather is less than ideal, we will adjust accordingly to ensure the best possible experience and results.

Sessions may be moved indoors or rescheduled to the next available date. If the forecast appears uncertain, I will personally reach out the day before your session. Occasionally, weather decisions may need to be made closer to session time as conditions change rapidly. Your comfort and the quality of your images will always come first.

Children, Family Members & Pets

My approach is calm, patient, and experience-based. I gently guide each session while allowing space for natural interactions and genuine moments.

That said, every child, adult, and pet has their own personality and timing. While I do everything possible to create a relaxed and positive experience, cooperation cannot be guaranteed. If a reshoot is requested, a new session fee will apply. Thank you for your trust and understanding as we create meaningful images together.
