Booking Your Session
To secure your session with Cecilia Cabrera Photography, a signed contract and a $100 non-refundable retainer are required. Please note: your date is not guaranteed until both are received.

The retainer will be applied toward your total session fee. The remaining balance is due one week before your scheduled session. If payment is not received by then, CCP reserves the right to reschedule your session (if availability allows), or the retainer will be forfeited.

Proofs
About one week after your session, you’ll receive an email with a link to your private online proofing gallery. This gallery will remain open for 7 days, so please be sure to make your final selections within that time.

If you need to extend the gallery for an additional 7 days, a $25 reactivation fee will apply.

Once you've made your selections, simply send me a message. I’ll then prepare and send your final download link within a week—often sooner!

Final delivery time typically ranges from 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the season and editing queue.

 

Final Gallery Download
Once you receive your final gallery, you will have 7 days to download your images and save them securely. Please make sure to back them up to your laptop, tablet, phone, cloud storage, or another safe device.

After the gallery has been delivered and the 7-day window has passed, Cecilia Cabrera Photography is not responsible for lost or misplaced files.

How Do We Choose the Location for Our Family Portraits?
I love capturing families in the natural beauty of our local area—whether it’s golden grassy fields, blooming wildflowers, charming buildings, tree-lined paths, or stunning backdrops like rivers, lakes, or mountains.

Once your session date is reserved, we’ll work together to choose the perfect location that fits your style, vision, and comfort. Whether you’re drawn to open landscapes or something more cozy and scenic, I’ll guide you to the best spot to make your session truly special.

 

What If It Rains?
If the weather isn’t cooperating, don’t worry—we have options! We can either move the session indoors or reschedule for another day.

I’ll reach out the day before your session if the forecast looks uncertain. However, please note that I may wait a bit closer to the session time to make a final decision, as the weather in our area can be unpredictable and often changes quickly.

Your comfort and the quality of your photos are always my top priority!

What If a Child, Family Member, or Pet Doesn’t Cooperate?
At Cecilia Cabrera Photography, we strive to create a relaxed and enjoyable experience for everyone. However, please understand that we cannot guarantee the cooperation of children, family members, or pets during the session.

While we always do our best to work with each unique personality and energy level, we are not responsible for any uncooperative behavior. In the event that a reshoot is requested, an additional session fee will apply.
